Get ready to step into the holiday spirit—and the fight against hunger! Registration just kicked off for our 8th Annual Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk. Our annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 22 this year, offering a special on-foot preview of the beloved Making Spirits Bright display and light show at Evergreen Park before it opens to the public.

- Professional race timing on accurately measured course (5K runners only)

- Award ceremony and after party at 3 Sheeps Brewing‘s taproom
For the first time ever, we’re partnering with Making Spirits Bright for an onsite food collection. Participants and volunteers who bring three food items to donate will be able to put in an entry to win a door prize generously provided by local businesses and organizations. Thanks to continued support from the community the first seven years, the run/walk has raised over $430,000 to provide nutritious food for thousands of neighbors in need. And with Black Spring Foundation’s generous sponsorship matching opportunity this year, the 2025 fundraiser is already off to a strong start. We’re on track to make this our biggest year yet and break over half a million dollars in collective dollars raised to support local families facing hunger.
