Stamp Out Hunger
The National Association of Letters Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive is the largest single-day food drive in the country. Prior to mail carriers’ arrival on the second Saturday in May, residents can place non-perishable food items next to their mailboxes. Mail carriers collect and deliver those items to a local food bank, or food pantry. Sheboygan County Food Bank receives donations from Sheboygan, Howards Grove, and Kohler, and relies heavily on these donations to help supply emergency food to partner agencies in the summer months.
