We hope you are doing well and staying safe. Thank you to all of those who have joined us in the past as participants, volunteers, sponsors, and key partners to help make our Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk a success.
In the wake of the current health crisis, the overall well-being of Sheboygan County residents remains a high priority for Sheboygan County Food Bank. We are continuing to take many precautions to best protect staff and volunteers during our daily operations. And while over three times as many more of our neighbors are counting on our help during this time, we are working closely with our 16 partner food pantries and other partner agencies to ensure each of our neighbors in need are being safely served healthy emergency food.
Contributing to the health of our community is important to us in all that we do. Because of this, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our 4th annual Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk that was scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2020 to 2021.
We know that for many of you the Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk has become a tradition to kick-off the holiday season and we thank you for understanding our decision that was made with our community’s best interest in mind. We look forward to again providing the opportunity for our community to support the children, families, and seniors who we serve and, in turn, enjoy a family-friendly event. Please look forward to joining us for our next Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk On Saturday, November 20, 2021.
In the mean time, here are ways you can still take steps against hunger as many more of our neighbors are depending on us. Thank you for your support and compassion.
