The National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive is the largest single-day food drive in the country! Residents are invited to place non-perishable food items next to their mailboxes the morning of Saturday, May 10. Mail carriers will collect the donations while they are out on their assigned routes.

Sheboygan County Food Bank receives donations from Sheboygan, Howards Grove, and Kohler, and works with volunteers to help pick up, unload, and weigh donations. These donations help supply food to our community through our Sheboygan Cares Food PantryHerb Kohler & Natalie Black Community Cafe, and partner organizations in the summer months.

Our current most needed items are:

  • Cereal/oatmeal
  • Canned soup
  • Canned tuna/chicken
  • Canned fruit
  • Pasta
  • Pasta sauce
  • Personal care items.

Donate

1. Purchase non-perishable food items from our current most needed items list above to ensure your donation is not expired.
2. Place the food items in a bag next to your mailbox prior to your mail carrier’s arrival in the morning.
3. Let your mail carrier and us handle the rest! With your letter carrier’s help, we will make sure your donation gets to our warehouse safely and in the hands of our neighbors in need.
