The National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive is the largest single-day food drive in the country! Residents are invited to place non-perishable food items in bags next to their mailboxes the morning of Saturday, May 9. Mail carriers will collect the donations while they are out on their assigned routes.
Sheboygan County Food Bank receives donations from Sheboygan, Howards Grove, and Kohler, helping supply food during the summer months for our Sheboygan Cares Food Pantry and partner organizations that all support local families facing hunger.
Be a part of the big day and help us reach our goal of collecting 30,000 pounds by donating our current most needed items from the list below. Purchasing these items ahead of the food drive helps avoid the collection of expired items.
- Oatmeal
- Canned soup
- Canned tuna/chicken
- Canned fruit
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce
- Personal care items

Donate
1. Purchase non-perishable food items from our current most needed items list above to ensure your donation is not expired.
2. Place the food items in a bag inside or next to your mailbox prior to your mail carrier’s arrival in the morning.
3. Let your mail carrier and us handle the rest! With your letter carrier’s help, we will make sure your donation gets to our warehouse safely and in the hands of our neighbors in need.
Volunteer
We rely on volunteers to help collect and organize Sheboygan donations! Shifts are two or three hours between 9 AM and 5 PM. Sign up to volunteer.
