The official results are in: Making Spirits Bright collected and donated a dazzling 98,799 pounds of food from our community – in just 32 nights – for their 2019 event. Making Spirits Bright – Sheboygan County Rotary Clubs’ drive-through holiday lights show in Evergreen Park – goes beyond providing a family-friendly event by also collecting non-perishable food items for Sheboygan County Food Bank.
Did you know that Making Spirits Bright is our largest annual food drive? In the eight-year partnership with Sheboygan County Food Bank, Making Spirits Bright has collected a grand total of 580,058 pounds of food.
The fight to end hunger requires year-round support, as local children, families and seniors face hunger every day. We greatly appreciate our community’s support around the holiday season and the rest of the calendar year. We look forward to continuing to work together in 2020 to ensure that 3,000 families in need receive free, healthy food each month.
